This month I’d like to share the story of a successful collaboration of likeminded businesses that I have been involved with in the Baw Baw region of Victoria.  I have been a member of my local  business group now for a number of years, attending the networking evenings and spreading the message about the importance of incorporating living plants into not only the workplace but any public space. After all, these are my potential clients!  It seems that the message has been heard with the Warragul Business Group launching a new brand ‘Grow Warragul’, an initiative to ‘green up’ the retail precinct.  My business has come on board as a supporter and agreed to supply some greenery for the launch, and in return I have been fortunate to have received lots of great publicity. While I’m sure that the current interest in other great projects such as the 202020 Vision has also played a part in this initiative I don’t think that the importance of engaging and collaborating with other professionals can be overstated. By giving a little and working together, we can all benefit!!  I encourage you to seek local networking opportunities for your business to help it grow too.
