Thank all of our members who participated in our recent survey. This is valuable information which we will be able to share with our wholesale growers, hopefully resulting in more availability of the plants that are in demand for you in the future! The results showed that the top five plants trending now or in short supply included:
- Ficus lyrata Fiddle leaf fig (300mm pots, as tall as possible)
- Sansevieria varieties Mother-in-law’s tongue (200mm pots with some height)
- Chamaedorea seifrizii Bamboo palm (250mm pots, tall & bushy)
- Dracaena fragrans ‘Massangeana’ Happy plant (200, 250 & 300mm pots)
- Zamioculcas zamiifolia Zanzibar gem (200 & 250mm pots, as tall as possible)
Other popular varieties included:
- Howea forsteriana Kentia palm
- all varieties of Aglaonema
- Dracaena deremenis ‘Janet Craig’ and
- Scindapsus aureus Pothos totems & baskets.
