Message from President (October)

I’m pleased to announce the latest research from University of Technology, Sydney titled ‘Towards Development of Indoor Plant Walls for Improved Indoor Air Quality’ is now complete! Click here for the full report which can now also be found under the useful resources tab on IPA’s website.   A Media Release has been prepared highlighting the key points from the study and I would encourage everyone to share this information with media contacts, clients who are looking to justify the use of indoor plants or green infrastructure in their projects or anyone else that you feel may be interested.  Your help in sharing the report will help to promote our industry!

A big thank you to the previous New Zealand Association PAWA (Plants at Work Association) for funding this indoor plant Walls project and to Prof. Margaret Burchett for her unwavering commitment to spreading the message about the benefits that plants provide to our health & well being.

I am really looking forward to hearing Prof. Burchett speak about all of these benefits & the science behind them at IPA’s 2017 Conference, Connect/Discover/Thrive – Inspiring a Growing Industry next year.  Tickets for the conference are now on sale, it’s been a long time coming so make sure you get behind this conference put together especially for the Interior Plantscape  & related industries.  A special thanks to our Gold Sponsor Container Connection, & Silver Sponsor Hort Journal for their support.
