Winter is certainly here, although we really can’t complain in Qld as we have had some exceptional winter days. However, it is always tricky to keep indoor plants alive and well in any environment but I feel for our southern members who must struggle in below zero temperatures. If you have any special tips to share we would love to hear how your tropical plants survive in the winter months.
Thanks to everyone who sent replies and comments about ‘Environmental credentials’ that I spoke about in last month’s newsletter. So, how does our industry shape up? I can confirm our industry is looking pretty good when it comes to these issues. One reply that stood out that I would like to share with you was from Paul Bouchereau, General Manager, Plantscape Interiors. Click here to read his reply.
Our members have been fortunate to be able to submit articles for Hort Journal Australia Magazine over the past few years and with the generosity of Gabe Mostafa, all our articles have been published. Hort Journal Australia Magazine has always supported, not only our industry but other horticulture industries and it gives me great pleasure to Congratulate Gabe Mostafa and his team Karen Smith and Janet Hodgkiss, Hort Journal Australia Magazine, Greener Publishing and Media Pty Ltd, for 10 years of publishing and on the launch of their exciting new website PlantSelect, the professional way to source plants. Discover what PlantSelect can do for your business!
It is impressive to see our members doing so well in their business and great that we can share your success stories. If you have any constructive feedback or articles you would like to share please forward them to firstname.lastname@example.org or contact me directly.
That’s all for another month!
