Associate Professor Fraser Torpy is the Director of the Plants and Environmental Quality Group, which has become internationally recognised as the leading group involved with the study of the role of plant systems in the degradation of gaseous and particulate air pollutants and the carbon dioxide balance of plant-microbial systems as it applies to atmospheric environments.
