Congratulations to the 2022 IPA Awards Winners!
After a challenging few years for everyone in our industry, what a great way to celebrate our 40th anniversary!
As this is our very first awards program we are more than thrilled with the amount of submissions we received from our members in Australia and New Zealand. The aim of launching these awards are to:- Recognise some of the most outstanding work done by our members during 2022;
- Inspire other members to strive to set higher and higher standards, both for their own businesses and clients, as well as for the industry; and
- More broadly, to foster greater media and community awareness and recognition of the exceptional work our members deliver on a daily basis.
We are very grateful to our judges – David Howard, Melissa Marsden and Paul Plant who generously gave their time and professional input into the judging process.
And the winners are …
Small installation: Nerida’s Interior Plantscaping, Vic
The brief from Nerida’s Interior Plantscaping’s client was to make a busy public shopping centre space feel more friendly and inviting to address antisocial behaviour and to attract shoppers to stay longer. Plants had to be safe for use in a public space including food court areas with consideration given to pots being knocked over and also anti-theft strategies. Read more.

Medium installation: Green Design Indoor Plant Hire, NSW
When Green Design Indoor Plant Hire approached by this client in November, they wanted an installation by early January. As you can imagine, this is a very busy time of year for everyone, including the other stakeholders they would be working with. The client wanted as much nature as possible, a natural finish to their pots and a tree! Read more.

Large installation: Outside In, NZ
When moving into their new build offices, Outside In’s client wanted a space that would bring calm to a busy workplace. A high-profile office for 300 plus staff, they wanted to emulate the New Zealand forest experience. Read more.
